What is a staffing pool?
A staffing pool is regular staff and temps who can take shifts at several units. In Bemlo, open shifts go first to regular and pool staff who are already paid, and then to the temps.
Can a pool be shared between units?
Yes. A pool can cover one unit, several units or the whole organisation, and staff can take shifts outside their home unit.
Does the staffing office need to be on call?
No. The booking robot fills gaps around the clock under the rules you set, and the staffing office sees what happened when its day starts.
Can managers and staff order by text message?
Yes. Orders can be placed from the computer, on the phone or by text message, and are then filled under your rules.
Can we use Pools without Bemlo’s scheduling?
Yes. Pools work on their own, and getting started is quick. Many start with orders and pools and add scheduling later.
Does it work for the whole municipality?
Yes. Social services, schools and service departments can use the same pools and the same ordering flow, and cost is followed up per department.
Does our IT department need to install anything?
No. Bemlo is web-based and staff use the app. Integrations, for example with payroll, are set up together with you.
