What is AI scheduling?
AI scheduling means the schedule is built from the need, laws and agreements, your rules and staff preferences, instead of by hand. In Bemlo it goes further: an AI agent builds the schedule, makes the changes you ask for and answers questions about it, and you always have the final say.
Is the AI fair?
Yes. The AI builds the schedule from the need, the rules and the preferences, and shares weekends, nights and requests evenly over time. It takes nothing else into account and has no goals of its own.
Are staff preferences taken into account?
Yes. Staff submit preferences and, if you want, veto days in the app, and can answer free-text questions that the AI follows. You decide how much the preferences weigh.
Can the AI produce unreasonable schedules?
No. The aim is not to optimise an abstract number but to build good, personal schedules that work for the organisation and for the staff.
Can the AI break the law or our rules?
No. Working-time law, collective agreements and the rules you have set always apply. The AI builds the best schedule within those limits, and deviations are shown before anything is published.
Does the AI replace the scheduler?
No. The AI is a tool for you as a manager or scheduler, and you always review and publish. The time you get back can go to talking with staff, recruiting and creating good conditions for care.
Does AI scheduling work in home care, elderly care and schools?
Yes. Bemlo is used in home care, care homes, disability services, home nursing, hospitals and schools. The rules and needs differ, but the agent works the same way.
